01 What can it do?
Vibe Buddy keeps your Codex and Claude Code usage limits visible, shows how many tasks are active, and changes its face when your AI needs an answer or approval—or when it is done working.
02 Does it work with business accounts?
Yes. Vibe Buddy works with both personal and business accounts.
03 Why put it on your desk?
Checking takes a glance instead of another command or tab, so you can stay in your code and know whether to keep going.
04 Is it finished?
Not yet. The robot in the photos is a working prototype. We’re still finishing the software and working out manufacturing, parts, packaging, and shipping. We’re planning to start shipping around September 2026.
05 What stays private?
The Vibe Buddy CLI reads usage and activity locally, then sends only limits, task counts, and the display state to the robot over Bluetooth. Prompts, keys, tokens, and account details stay on your computer.
06 Where is it made?
We design, 3D-print, assemble, and test each Vibe Buddy in Vancouver, Canada. The electronic module inside is manufactured in China.
07 How does the pre-order work?
A fully refundable US$5 deposit reserves one Vibe Buddy and is credited toward the US$49 product price. We’re planning to start shipping around September 2026.
08 What will I pay later?
Before production, we’ll email you to collect the remaining US$44, your shipping address, shipping, and applicable taxes. Nothing else is charged automatically.
09 Can I get my deposit back?
Yes. Email [email protected] before paying the remaining balance and we’ll refund the full US$5 to the original payment method.
